 Ha:san Bak Saguaro Festival

The Ha:san Bak Saguaro Festival focuses on the Saguaro Cactus, both it’s physiology and it’s cultural significance primarily with the Tohono O’odham Tribal Nation. As one of the greatest iconic symbols of the desert southwest, the Saguaro Cactus is a native to the Sonoran Desert. It has a very long lifespan, often exceeding 150 years, and can grow to be over 40 feet high with the largest on record reaching an astounding 78 feet!

 10th Annual Colossal Cave 5K Road Race

 Colossal-Vail 50/50 Arizona Trail Run

The Colossal Vail 50/50 is a combined 50 kilometer/50 mile event traversing a beautiful high desert section of the Arizona Trail in Colossal Cave Mountain Park. Open spaces and striking vistas await you as this run starts in La Posta Quemada Ranch and heads south along the scenic boundaries between the Sonoran and Chihuahuan Deserts.
